Authentic Leaders

genuine leaders with sound character.
Team Insight find it incomprehensible
that the concept of “authentic
leadership” is being described and/or
taught as an option amongst leadership
styles or as an option amongst
leadership models. Since it is
categorised as option amongst many
other styles and/or models of
leadership, this essentially means fake
(the opposite of authentic) leaders are
acceptable.
Team Insight disagree. We firmly believe
- and reflect that in all our programs -
that authenticity and sound character
are the pre-requisites for all leadership
and managerial roles. Without these, an
organisation will be operating devoid of
trust. Trust is the basic building-block of
